If you've lost your 2FA device or application, or don't have access to the one-time code needed to sign in, you can use the recovery code you saved during 2FA set up to regain access to your account.
The recovery code prompt would have looked like this during set up:
How to Use 2FA Recovery Code
From the 'Verify your identity' page asking for a 'one-time code':
- Click Try another method
- Then click Recovery code
- Enter your saved recovery code
- If the code is correct, you will see a new recovery code
- Copy the new recovery code and store securely
What if I don't have a recovery code or it doesn't work?
