- Sign in to CoinTracker,
- Navigate to the bottom left of the page and click on Account.
- Click Settings.
- From the Account tab, click your email address next to Email.
- Follow the instructions to update your email address.
- Click Update email to complete.
Social sign-in accounts
If you sign in to your account using a Google, Coinbase, or Apple social sign-in, you cannot change your email address, as these accounts don’t use traditional email and password credentials.
If you lose access to your social sign-in provider, you can still access your CoinTracker account by signing in with a different social sign-in.
- Use a different social sign-in provider with the same email address as your previous sign-in.
- CoinTracker automatically links your accounts so you can sign in through either provider.
Alternatively, you can create a new account, and reach out to CoinTracker support and we’ll transfer your paid plans to it.
What does error 1015 mean and why is my email restricted?
This is a security precaution on your account. If you recently tried to change your email address, you'll need to wait up to 24 hours before updating it again. Avoid changing your email during this 24-hour period as it may start the restriction again. If the error or restriction persists after the 24-hour period, please contact CoinTracker support.
