This article applies to German customers only.
After importing your CoinTracker WISO Steuer CSV, WISO Steuer will only show the total amounts appearing on the Anlage SO form — Veräußerungserlös, Anschaffungskosten, and Gewinn/Verlust. The individual transactions don't show up in the Tabelle view, even after toggling it on.
Why doesn't WISO Steuer show my individual transactions?
The German Anlage SO form is only designed to receive totals, not line items. There's space for one disposition on the form itself, an aggregate field for the total, and a reference to a "gesonderte Aufstellung" (separate schedule) for everything else. The totals get submitted to the Finanzamt via ELSTER. The detail stays with you.
If you've used WISO Steuer in past years and remember entering or seeing individual transactions in the table view, that view is a manual-entry helper for customers who don't import. When you import via CSV instead, WISO Steuer reads your file, calculates the totals, and puts those totals directly into the form fields that get submitted via ELSTER.
Do I still need to keep my individual transaction records?
Yes, the Finanzamt can ask you to show how you arrived at those totals. This is the Belegvorhalteprinzip (records-on-hand principle): the same rule that applies to receipts and other supporting documents. You don't mail them in with your return, but you keep them ready in case you're asked.
Your CoinTracker WISO Steuer CSV is that supporting detail. It contains every transaction with the asset, quantity, dates, prices, gain or loss, and holding period — exactly what the Finanzamt would need to verify your filing.
What do I need to do with my transaction records?
- Save your CoinTracker WISO Steuer CSV file with your tax records for the year. This is the gesonderte Aufstellung the form references.
- Don't worry about the blank Tabelle view. Your totals are submitted correctly.
- If the Finanzamt ever asks how your totals were calculated, send the CSV or other supporting reports such as your tax summary report.
What should I avoid doing?
Don't try to manually re-type your transactions into the Tabelle view. The aggregates are what gets transmitted, and the detail belongs in your saved file. Manual re-entry only risks introducing errors.
