You can manually add transactions to, and between, specific wallets/exchanges connected to your CoinTracker account. Adding manual transactions can help fill any gaps for synced wallets. For example, unsupported transactions that may not have been imported into CoinTracker.
Before attempting to add manual transactions, or editing transactions manually, make sure you have added all your wallets/exchanges to your CoinTracker account. Having a complete transaction history automatically synced will make sure you minimise the amount of manual edits you need to make. This will help to avoid duplicate transactions and it is much more convenient.
Once you have added all of your wallets/exchanges, you can add a manual transactions through either the Wallet page or the Transactions page.
Adding a Manual Transaction via the Wallet Page
- Navigate to the Wallet Page
- Select the Wallet you would like to add your manual transaction to followed by the drop down:
- Click Add manual transacation
Adding a Manual Transaction via the Transactions Page
- Navigate to the Transaction Page
- Select the +Add New button at the top of the page
Entering the manual transaction
Both options will direct you to the manual edits page:
- Fill out the details in the appropriate columns—date and time, outgoing asset, incoming asset, and/or fee.
- Date - the date and time the transaction took place in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
- Outgoing asset - what was sent, or what was traded for something else.
- Incoming asset - what was received, or what was purchased during trading.
- Fee - any gas fees or exchange fees associated with the transaction.
- Once you have added your transaction details, click Add transaction.
Note: If you do not see your transaction in your history after adding it, make sure you have added the correct date of the transaction.
