How to delete transactions

Delete specific transactions to clean up your data or start fresh. 

• You can only delete transactions you created manually or imported via CSV — for synced transactions, edit or ignore them instead.

To delete all transactions, you'll need to remove the associated wallet or exchange from your account. 

Impact of deleting transactions on account accuracy

Important: Deleting transactions can create an incomplete transaction history, which is the most common cause of inaccurate tax calculations and reports. If you're unsure how removing transactions will affect your account, reach out to our support team via Chatoshi before you proceed.

Steps to delete transactions

To delete every transaction from a wallet or exchange, remove the associated wallet or exchange instead.

You can delete transactions that were created manually or imported via CSV.

To delete a manual transaction:

1. Go to the Transactions page.
2. Click the [...] icon next to the transaction you want to delete.
3. Select Delete transaction
