Import CoinTracker tax reports into CCH Axcess or CCH ProSystem fx

Learn how to use the CoinTracker and Wolters Kluwer CCH File integration with CCH Axcess or CCH ProSystem fx to prepare and import crypto data for filing your client’s tax returns.

Before you get started

• Connect your client's wallets and exchanges to CoinTracker.
• Review any transactions flagged as review suggested.

Steps to import the tax report

1. Download the Wolters Kluwer CCH File from the Taxes page.
2. Sign into CCH Axcess or CCH ProSystem fx and open the client’s return.
3. Navigate to the input area where you enter capital gains and losses, and click Import.
4. Select the path where you downloaded the Wolters Kluwer CCH File in Step 1 and click Select Template:
5. Click Next (no settings need to be changed here).
6. Select either the Append or Replace option, depending on your situation.
7. Click Import and then Finish.
   • You should see all the crypto trades populated in the grid of CCH Axcess or CCH ProSystem fx. 
8. Click Calculate to generate the tax forms.
