After downloading your transaction history CSV from CoinTracker, you may want to re-import it.
- Navigate to the Wallets page.
- Select + Add wallet.
- Enter CSV.
- Select the CSV file you want to import.
- Select Import to add the CSV transactions to your CoinTracker account.
Before you import
Important: Before you import, make three checks — skipping any of these causes validation errors or data loss:
- Remove unsupported columns. CoinTracker-generated CSVs can include more columns than the import tool supports. See our CSV formatting guide.
- Remove Transfer-type transactions. CoinTracker does not support importing transactions labeled as Transfer. If your CSV includes these, you'll encounter a validation error. Please refer to the Transfer section within our guide on how to format these transactions before importing.
- One wallet per import. Imported CSV files come in as a single wallet. If your CSV contains transactions from multiple wallets or exchanges, they won't be separated by source. CoinTracker doesn’t distinguish between wallets during import.
