To add your Trust Wallet to CoinTracker, simply add your public addresses to automatically sync your balances and transactions.
A public address is a string of letters and numbers that allows you to receive assets. It cannot be used to access your funds. To access or control your funds, someone would need access to your private key.
Add your Trust Wallet
- From the Wallets page, click Add wallet.
- Select Trust from the menu.
- Select the blockchain.
- Enter the public address.
- Click Add Trust to complete the process.
Repeat these steps as needed.
To locate your public address for a specific blockchain:
- Open the Trust wallet mobile app.
- Go to Settings and tap Wallet.
- Select a transaction to find the associated public address. You may need to tap View on block explorer.
- Then copy and paste the public address into CoinTracker.
- Click Add Trust to complete the process.
Address missing transactions for BCH, BTC, DASH, DOGE, LTC, & ZEC wallets (pre-April 2021)
Important: You'll need your recovery phrase, which are your private keys. Handle it with extreme caution as your funds will be at risk if compromised.
To add these missing transactions, you’ll need the wallet's xPub key (extended public key). Use the steps below to convert your recovery phrase into an xPub key.
- Open the Trust Wallet app on your mobile device.
- Go to Settings then Wallets.
- Tap the i icon next to the wallet you want to add to CoinTracker, and then follow the prompts to access your recovery phrase.
- Open an open source tool and enter your recovery phrase in the BIP39 Mnemonic field.
- In the tool, select the crypto (e.g. BTC), then choose the BIP84 Derivation Path.
- Copy the public zPub key from the Account Extended Public Key field into CoinTracker.
Do NOT copy your recovery phrase into CoinTracker.
If the wallet fails to import or transactions are still missing, try a different derivation path, like BIP44 or BIP49, using the steps above. Extended public keys from these paths will start with xpub or ypub instead of zpub.
