Add a tax professional to your account

You can add a tax professional to your account for collaboration, allowing them to view and edit your transactions and data in your CoinTracker account. You can always revoke access to your account from the Tax professionals page.

If your tax professional already has a Tax Pro account, they can invite you to collaborate via email. Or, you can send them an invitation to join CoinTracker through your account. Follow the steps below. 

Accept an invitation

Email

When your tax pro invites you to collaborate, you will receive an email invitation. To accept the invitation:

• Select Grant access in the email
• You will be routed to the Tax professionals page when you accept the invitation 

If you're having trouble finding the email, check your spam folder and email filters. You can also try searching Invitation to collaborate with your Tax Professional on CoinTracker in your inbox, as it may be in another folder. 

Taxes page

1. Sign in to CoinTracker and navigate to the Taxes page. 
2. Click Add tax pro. 
3. Go to the Incoming invites tab.
4. Click Accept. 

Once accepted, you'll see your active tax pros on the Tax professionals page. 

Send an invitation 

To invite a tax pro to collaborate on your CoinTracker account:

1. Go to the Taxes page. 
2. Click Add tax pro. 
3. You’ll be directed to the Tax professionals page and Click Invite tax pro.
4. Enter your tax pro's email address into the Share with tax professional pop-up.
5. Click Invite.

Once your tax professional has accepted the invite, you will see the status as Active on the Tax professionals page.
