How to Add Trust Wallet to CoinTracker

How to add your Trust Wallet account

Add your public addresses to CoinTracker to automatically sync your balances and transactions:

  1. Open the Trust Wallet mobile app or browser extension
  2. If necessary, choose your wallet under Settings
  3. On the Wallet tab, choose Receive and select the token
  4. Copy the public address and paste into CoinTracker

Special instructions for BCH, BTC, DASH, DOGE, LTC, and ZEC wallets with missing transactions prior to April 2021

The easiest way to add these transactions is by adding the extended public (xPub) key for that wallet. You can convert your mnemonic phrase to your extended public key with the steps below.

WARNING! You'll need your secret phrase, which contains all the information necessary to generate your public and private keys. Please be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS with this information, as if it is compromised, all your funds will be compromised.

  1. Open Trust Wallet on your mobile device
  2. Go to Settings, and then go to Wallets
  3. Tap the “i” symbol beside the wallet that you want to add to CoinTracker, and proceed through the prompts to access your secret phrase
  4. Head to an open source tool like this and add your secret phrase in the BIP39 Mnemonic field
  5. Select the corresponding coin (e.g. BTC) in the Coin field, and then select the BIP84 Derivation Path
  6. Copy the public zPub key generated from the Account Extended Public Key field into CoinTracker.
    Note: please do NOT copy the mnemonic phrase nor private keys into CoinTracker
  7. If the wallet fails to import, or if you are missing transactions you expect to see, you may need to use a different Derivation Path. Most commonly this will be BIP44 or BIP49, so go back to step 5 and try each of those. Please note that when using alternative Derivation Paths, your extended public key will start with “xpub” or “ypub” instead of “zpub.”

Alternatively, you can copy each public address the wallet has used:

  1. Open Trust Wallet on your mobile device
  2. If necessary, choose your wallet under Settings
  3. On the Wallet tab, choose the coin or token
  4. For each transaction in the list:
    1. Tap the transaction to find your wallet’s public address. You may need to tap View on block explorer. Note: Trading platforms can batch multiple transactions in a single transaction hash, so not all senders or recipients will always be your wallet.
    2. Copy your wallet’s public address and paste into CoinTracker
