As of December 2022, we’ve launched an integration that allows you to seamlessly track your Cardano wallet on CoinTracker using only a stake key. This feature will also automatically tag your staking rewards.
Since the stake key helps us locate transactions across all addresses in your wallet, there is no need to add new individual HD addresses as they are generated. Once you add your stake key, your complete history will be synced automatically and stay up-to-date across all of the addresses for your wallet.
To add your Cardano wallet using your stake key:
- Locate and copy your stake key. If you’re not sure how to find your stake key, scroll down on this page to find the instructions for your wallet.
- On the CoinTracker Add Wallets page, search and click on "HD Wallet”.
- Select “ADA” for the cryptocurrency.
- Paste your stake key into the Address field and click “Add Wallet”.
How To Find Your Cardano Stake Key:
Your stake key will start with the letters "stake".
Yoroi:
- Navigate to the Receive menu in your Yoroi wallet.
- Click on Rewards and copy the stake key at the bottom of the page.
Daedalus:
- Click on “Staking”. The staking icon is located in the left sidebar of the Daedalus app.
- Click on the “Rewards” tab to view and copy your stake key.
Ledger Live:
- Select “Portfolio” on the left sidebar of the Ledger Live app.
- Scroll down to “Latest Operations” and select a transaction where you’ve received Cardano tokens to your Ledger.
- Copy the address used for the receive (your “To” address), which should begin with the letters “addr”.
- Go to Cardanoscan and search for the address you just copied.
- Find and copy your stake key under the heading “Controlled Stake Key”.
For any Cardano wallet that may not expose the stake key:
- Locate and copy any of your Cardano Receive addresses. This should start with the letters "addr".
- Go to Cardanoscan and search for the address you just copied.
- Find and copy your stake key under the heading “Controlled Stake Key”.
Please note that we currently only support the native ADA asset when syncing Cardano transactions via the stake key. Transactions with other tokens, such as NFTs, may not import completely. We recommend manually adding or editing transactions to fully capture any non-ADA assets. These resources provide additional help for making manual modifications:
